Description
This is a concentrated form of a dual extraction of blue lotus flower.
Our highest strength tincture is 250mg/ml or the 1:4 ratio, which contains 15 grams worth of extracted blue lotus flower. A 2 oz bottle of that is equivalent to 4.4 grams of this concentrated resin extract.
1 ml of that tincture is equivalent to 73mg, or 0.073 grams of this resin. This is extremely concentrated.
10 grams of this resin is equivalent to 34 grams of blue lotus flower.
Blue Lotus has a long history of use in Mayan and Egyptian cultures for its psychoactive and medicinal properties. Recent studies suggest that it may have various health benefits.* For example, it has been shown to have antidepressant, vasodilator, anti-inflammatory, and antipsychotic properties. It may also have potential as a treatment for diabetes, Alzheimer’s, oxidative stress, brain cancer, and obesity. However, caution should be taken when using Blue Lotus in combination with diabetes drugs like metformin. Here are some links to studies on Blue Lotus:
